In this unit you’ll undertake an investigation of terminating and recurring decimals by using the correct mathematical symbols for recurring (repeating) decimals. You’ll learn to convert fractions into terminating or recurring decimals and recognise why calculators may only show approximations (or estimates) of recurring decimals.
