Canberra, National Science Week: A new exhibition has opened at the CSIRO’s Discovery Gallery Room on 5th August that highlights the careers of some of Australia’s amazing women working in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM).
The ‘League of Remarkable Women in Australian Science’ exhibition features profiles and interviews of 40 female scientists who have shared their reflections on what it means to be a woman working in diverse fields such as; volcanology, microbiology and the chemistry of pigments used in Aboriginal art.
