**Materials: **Cuisenaire rods, pattern blocks or other relational blocks, e.g. tangram pieces

**WALT:** Use our knowledge of numbers to find the value of the different blocks

**WILF:** Understanding the relationship between different numbers, e.g. one of these is two of those

**Game Objective:** To find the value of the different blocks

**Summary:**

- Create a simple image using pattern blocks (Teachers could also use an image of the blocks)
- If the triangle is worth one – what is the value of the other block
- What is the total value of the image?
